Background
India aims to spend $1.4 Trillion building Infrastructure. Prime Minister launched Gati Shakti – National Master Plan for Multi-modal Connectivity, essentially a digital platform to bring 16 Ministries including Railways and Roadways together for integrated planning and coordinated implementation of infrastructure connectivity projects with the goal of developing infrastructure to lower logistic costs and improve the economy. Digitalization and BIM will play a very important role in helping India achieve its Infrastructure Goals.
CDCPIndia has been conceived by veterans from the industry who has been directly or indirectly practicing and promoting Digital ways of working in the Construction & Infrastructure Industry. Vision of CDCPIndia is to “Inspire and Collaborate with Construction Professionals across India to advance Digitally enabled Processes and Technologies in construction & Infrastructure sector”.
CDCPIndia shall work in collaboration with several existing Institutions, Professional Bodies, Academia, Corporates and Government to Improve the Project Delivery & Asset Management Efficiency by use of Digital Technologies and Processes. CDCPIndia is a not-for-profit organization and has been registered as a Society under Society Registration Act

Society Objective
Improve Project Delivery & Asset Management Efficiency through Confederation and Collaboration with various Professionals & Communities relating Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operation (AECO) sectors.
Inspire Industry Stakeholders to adopt fully Collaborated and outcome driven Digital Information Management Processes using appropriate Digital Technologies with a holistic approach.
Facilitate skill development in Digital Information Delivery for various industry stakeholders to help them deliver Project effectively and efficiently.
Partner with Government, Policy makers and Professional Bodies to facilitate the creation of Regulatory frameworks, standards and code of practices for establishing a consistent, collaborated, transparent, validated and outcome driven Digital Information Delivery Processes.
Initiate various AECO Digital Enablement Chapters (DEC) for knowledge sharing, exchange of best practices, exchange of success and failure stories to ultimately build relevant Digital Information Delivery Processes & Standards.
Partner with Academia to leverage recent research and to update and align them with dynamically changing Industry trends and digital advancements.
Partner with Corporates and Technology players to facilitate Open BIM Culture & Community Initiatives. Build Capabilities for Accreditation of various Digital Practitioners & Services Providers to establish consistency in Delivery outcomes across the Country.
Collaborate with key International Bodies, Professionals and Institutes to exchange best practices, talent exchange programs, standards and various digital initiatives.
Encourage & Support Research Initiative and Facilitate in Creating various Centre of Excellence for various Digital Technologies and Processes.
Governing Body
CDCPIndia’s Governing Body include the founding Board Members who are Industry veterans. The governing body is a non-family constitution with provisions for rotation key position holders over a regular interval.
Mr. Joshi is a Civil Engineer with post-graduation in Business Management and a RICS certified BIM Professional with over 17 years of experience in helping the Construction Industry in their BIM & Digital Transformation Process. He is an expert BIM Workflow Strategist with deeper interest in Data interoperability and Automation. He has worked on several marque projects across US, Europe, APAC, India, and Middle East. He is also a Member of Board of Studies at MIT College of Management.
