The India Strategy

CDCPIndia has developed the “INDIA” Strategy for Inclusive Infrastructure Digitalization
CDCPIndia envisioned an inclusive Infrastructure Digitalization strategy which is a combination of both Top-Down & also Bottom-Up approaches enabling Data Democratization. The fundamental philosophy behind Democratizing Data is “Collaborative working across supply chain & engaging all stakeholders at all stages in the lifecycle through a single source of truth; ‘Common Data Environment’ (CDE) providing required information on real-time basis with complete visibility and early engagement all users/O&M team for better design decisions”.

The INDIA strategy is a framework that evolves around:

Inspire & onboard community bringing about a behavioral change within the community in adopting digitalization.

National mandate which are inclusive, effective, neutral and with empathy for the implementing stakeholders.

Democratization of Data in the information ecosystem by maintaining a transparent, real-time – single source of truth through a ‘Common Data Environment’ (CDE)

Incentivizing the stakeholders, recognizing the fact that there are unequal players, and the weaker player are in majority. They need to be brought on a level ground for making Digitalization drive in, inclusive.

Aid (Facilitate & support) for the stakeholders to help them navigate the transitional impact of adopting several Digital Tools, technologies and Processes.

The INDIA strategy is underpinned by the philosophy of “Data Democratization” (Digitalization), Connecting the Data Silos & the Stakeholders
The concept of digitalization transcends both the dimensions – Project Life-cycle and Multiple Stakeholders. While Digitisation enables creation of information at every stage of the Infrastructure Life-cycle by using various Digital Technologies, opening enormous potential of creativity, Digitalization connects information silos and democratise the data for all stakeholders enabling utilization of these Digital information to collaborate, deliver & Operate the Infrastructure Asset most efficiently, effectively & sustainably, ensuring value for money. Digitalization thus would help the Infrastructure & Construction Sector to realise the concept of Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (ILM), like PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) in the Manufacturing world.
Thus, The “INDIA” Strategy with the Inspired community backed by a National mandate in a Democratized Data environment with well-deserved Incentives and necessary Aid (Facilitate & Support) shall help India advance to an Infrastructure Digitalisation era.
